BBBS of Big Sky Country is bringing back The Big One: A Two-Fly Challenge for the fourth year in a row. This event will allow guests and volunteer guides to fish the famed rivers surrounding Park and Gallatin counties. Join us for fishing and a fundraiser on August 10, 2024. The dinner and fundraiser is open to everyone!
Where: Each group will be randomly assigned a guide, launch location, and time.
Description: There will be 10-15 boats and guides participating in this day on the river. This includes two anglers and one guide per boat. BBBS will provide coffee and light breakfast in the morning and packed lunches for the river. Contestants will only use 2 flies throughout the day of fishing but ‘mulligan’ flies will be available for purchase. $50 an extra fly. There will be no actual reporting on fish but people are allowed to take pictures and compare notes afterward. We will be in accordance with all FWP regulations.
Where: The Attic - Livingston
Description: All participants (guides and attendees) will have entry to dinner, dancing, and drinks while tickets will be open to the community as well. The evening will be filled with food, live music, yard games, and live and silent auctions! The Boat purchasers will meet their guide that evening and set a plan for the following day!
