Community Based

In our community-based program, we match community members (Bigs) ages 18+ with children in the community (Littles) ages 5-18. Bigs & Littles are matched based on personality and interests and then spend 4-6 hours per month together enjoying activities together out in the community. What Bigs & Littles do together is completely up to them and often are activities they are both interested in or want to try together.

Our volunteers can volunteer as individuals, as a couple, or as a family. We have an option for everyone!

We currently have community-based programs in Gallatin, Park, and Sweetgrass counties.

Our services are free and provided to any child who wishes to have a mentor and can form a relationship with a mentor. There are no economic or family structure qualifiers. Our volunteers can volunteer as individuals, as a couple, or as a family. We have an option for everyone!

Bigs and Littles are also invited to our free match activities put on by our office. These activities include everything from painting and cooking classes, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, trips to local museums and hot springs and more! We also host Big Meet Ups so our volunteers can meet each other and share their experiences. Our office is also proud to offer ongoing trainings for volunteers and families to ensure their match is as successful as possible!
