Gwen is a California native who received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from UC Berkeley. After 15 years as a business owner, she made a big change and relocated to Montana. When she decided to go back to school, she moved to the Seattle area where she attended Bastyr University and received a Master of Arts degree in counseling, eventually becoming a licensed counselor. During that time she also worked in the field of conflict resolution as program staff, mediator, and trainer for the Bellevue Neighborhood and Parent-Teen Mediation Programs. After returning to Montana, she joined the staff at BBBS. Gwen currently works part-time for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is also a part-time Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in private practice.
