Hi, my name is Megan! I grew up in Golden, Colorado and have been working with kids for as long as I can remember. I attended Montana State University, where I initially studied Elementary Education before changing my degree to Community Health. Throughout school, I’ve been especially interested in the interconnectedness between youth well-being, mental health, and stewardship for our environment.
Before joining Big Brothers Big Sisters, I worked as a substitute teacher and an after-school para, where I expanded my understanding of how to support youth in meaningful and adaptable ways. I’m excited to continue that work by building strong, supportive relationships with young people in my community.
In my free time, I enjoy fly fishing, skiing, spending time with my friends, and hanging out with my cat, Melvin
