Samantha grew up in Maryland and then headed to Boone, North Carolina to attend Appalachian State University. There, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management in 2014. During college Samantha started working with an organization called Students Helping Honduras which focuses on education equity in Honduras. Through this organization she has been traveling to Honduras since 2010. After college, Samantha moved to Big Sky, Montana where she eventually worked for Women in Action, Discovery Academy, and Ophir Elementary to support the ELL students and families. Having a true passion for supporting children to find their own successes, Samantha is very excited to be part of the BBBS team as the Match Support Specialist.
On the weekends you can find Samantha likely at an event with her coffee trailer, The Traveling Bean. In her free time, she enjoys getting on the water with her paddle board and fly rod. When it's too cold for that, you can find her cross country skiing!
